Information: For over 40 years, our practice has been at the heart of the local community, delivering exceptional, personalised eye care. We have built a loyal and valued patient base who trusts us for our clinical expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to outstanding service.
We are currently seeking a locum optometrist for the busy summer period, with the potential for ongoing regular sessions. This is an excellent opportunity for an optometrist who is passionate about community-based eye care and providing a high standard of patient centred care.
Our clinics operate with 45 minute testing appointments, allowing sufficient time to conduct thorough, unhurried examinations and deliver comprehensive clinical care.
Additional qualification in WGOS4 glaucoma monitoring or medical retina and/or WGOS5 independent prescribing (IP) are desiriable but not essential.
The practice has recently invested in advanced technology, including new video slit lamps and phoropter heads. We also utilise the Rodenstock DNEye scanner for every patient, providing biometric measurement before they enter the consulting room and supporting a highly personalised approach to eye care.
